Grand Forks Minor Hockey 2023/24 Registration

Registration for the 2023/24 season is OPEN! As in seasons past, we use the online Hockey Canada Registry to register all players and coaches. Please CLICK HERE to access our Hockey Canada Registry.

If you registered a player last season, then you should be able to log in with the same credentials. Once you've logged into your account, follow the registration instructions. If your child has been registered with GFMHA in the past, you can search for them by their name and birthdate (or HCR number if you know it) - their record will come up and you can select their profile to continue with the registration process. Please make sure you enter the same name (e.g. Nate vs. Nathan) - this will prevent the creation of duplicate profiles in the system. If you have not previously registered a child with GFMHA you will need to select "Register a New Member" for each child. ***PLEASE make sure you review and update your contact info when registering (parent, guardian address, email and phone number). GFMHA and Hockey Canada require current contact information for registration!***

In order to plan the season we need to know how many kids we will have registered, so please register early. Take advantage of EARLY BIRD PRICES by completing your registration and payment by July 15, 2023 (no exceptions). Regular registration will remain open until August 31, 2023, and payment in full is due upon registration. Payment can be made via etransfer to gfmha.treasurer@gmail.com (there is no password required; the payment will auto-deposit), or by mail: PO Box 901, Grand Forks, BC, V0H 1H0. GFMHA recognizes that hockey fees can be a big financial commitment. KidSport provides funding for kids from families that need financial support to help cover the cost of sport registration fees #SoALLKidsCanPlay! KidSport BC's Provincial Fund supports kids from communities that don't have a KidSport chapter. Max grant: up to $400 per child per calendar year. Applications should be submitted as early as possible, as it can take several weeks for the application to be processed. Visit the KidSport BC website to find out more!

***ARE YOU BRAND NEW TO HOCKEY? If this is the FIRST time playing hockey and your child has never been registered for a Minor Hockey Association (BC Hockey/Hockey Canada), contact gfmha.treasurer@gmail.com today. You will receive $100 OFF your first-time registration. 

If your kid does not fall into these birth years but is interested in playing hockey (ie 2005 or 2019 kids) please email our President gfmhapresident@gmail.com or Vice President gfmhavice@gmail.com to inquire about options.

By completing the online registration and paying registration fees your child will be pre-registered for the 2023/24 season in their appropriate division. In addition to registration and payment, completed and signed Medical Information Form (one for each child), Player Code of Conduct Contract and Parent Code of Conduct Contract (a single contract can be signed by multiple parent/guardians for multiple players, just include all player and parent/guardian names) must be submitted to the team manager before the first ice time, or can be mailed to:
