GFMHA Coaches & Volunteers

All team coaches, assistant coaches, managers, and team safety persons must complete the following training requirements. All training must be completed under the adult volunteer account. If you don’t have a HCR account, please contact the GFMHA Registrar gfmha.registrar@gmail.com for proper Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) registration.

Mandatory Requirements for ALL Team Officials 
• Respect in Sport – Activity Lead (5 year expiry)
• CATT
• CRC / VPC (3 year expiry)

1. Respect in Sports (RIS) prior to participating in any practice or games.

   • RIS is valid for 5 years.

2. Concussion Awareness Training (CATT) prior to participating in any practices or games.

   • No Expiry

3. HU Online Safety must be completed by Team Safety Person

   • HU Online Safety is valid for 3 years

All volunteers over the age of 18 must have a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Person’s Check(CRC/VPC). Volunteers must request these checks prior to participating in any practices or games.
